Survival: Pneumonia and COPD

Vital questions:

How many of you are suffering from chronic illness and are being told it is normal and given another pill or shot?

Do you go to the doctor and be told that a symptom you are concerned about is a normal part of growing up or aging?

I would like to share part of my health history in the hope that it can help you and open your eyes to look at a much better solution you may not have thought of until now.

My life's experience was going to the emergency room several times a year with walking pneumonia, bronchitis, sinus infections, strep throat, anaphylaxis shock, asthma, hives, flu and allergies to food and the environment. I suffered in silence and took what ever each doctor prescribed which created a vicious cycle of reactions that became unbearable. The new advertising term is COPD.

Did you know that because the symptoms of COPD develop slowly, some people may not know that they are sick?

This was something I lived with thinking it was normal. I still became an accomplished student, attending college beginning at 11 years old, worked towards award winning academic excellence, pursued modeling and became a very successful artist and business executive. In the meantime, my body was falling apart.

My doctors did not figure out what was wrong, I did. Through study and research I realized that my path began when I almost died of pneumonia when I was 2 years old. My family thought I was not coming home from the hospital. This health scare set my body up for a lifetime of chronic illness.

Happy Time

When I was in the hospital I was given penicillin which about killed me, I was allergic to the normal prescribed solutions to get better. During my early years in school I was sent home regularly with hives. I had trouble breathing during sports and was punished by the teachers for not performing.

Both my parents were in health care and my extended family were almost all doctors. Still, my mother was a smoker and still smoked until her 40's.

Another major concern was that I used to hang out with my father, Stanley Randolph Jesson, D.D.S, in his lab and watch him work, eventually partnering with him as his assistant. Liquid mercury and other toxins that were normal at the time to have in a practice were always around. I do believe this contributed to his own stroke at the base of his brain in 2005 and final death from dementia and pneumonia at 73 last year. My grandfather, also a Dentist and past president of the Michigan Dental Association, was practicing dentistry when it was accepted to handle radioactive film and dental X-Rays without a x-ray bib or apron. He died of lung cancer at 53 and did not smoke. His wife, my amazing grandmother Helen Julia Vitali Jesson, died of Parkinson's disease and pneumonia at 80 years old.

My mother, a Registered Expanded Function Dental Hygienist (RDA), died of ovarian cancer also at 53. The doctor's never caught it until it was too late. I believe it was also mercury induced.

The point of this story is to let you know that no matter what doctor's say and do, toxins are all around you.

You are soaking it up through your skin at every moment. Babies are now born with several hundred chemicals in their little fresh bodies before they even get started on junk food. My parents used red Mercurochrome all the time on every wound.

Did you know it is also becoming well established (first noted in 1977) that mercury poisoning and toxins can lead to ADHDautism, schizophrenia and so many learning disorders? I now understand why members of my family have suffered from many of these diagnoses, some with horrific endings.

I found my first introduction to Ayurvedic medicine a little over a decade ago. In 2005 a friend handed me a book on Ayurveda from India. Then I was introduced to an Ayurvedic, Homeopathic Chiropractor in 2007 - 2008 and he shared what finally made sense and what worked.

The paradigm shift and innovative thought processes will challenge your belief system. This is why I am passionate about what I do and hope to make a difference in your life and your family's future.
